This year’s theme ‘FOLKLORE & FANTASY’ is inspiring our members to look at their own family stories as well as traditional tales, for costume and fashion entries to parade before you on the catwalk. This celebrated event produced by the Eurobodalla Fibre and Textile Artists Group will be held on:
Sunday, May 20 2018 at 3pm at St Mary’s Performing Arts Centre in Moruya.
Doors open 2.30pm so come and have a drink and take a seat ready for the parade.
We will once again present our showstopping extravaganza with catwalk, champagne & canapes in Moruya, parading enchanting creations incorporating old-world traditions with a contemporary edge from south coast textile artists. The Wearable Art Fashion Parade was originally held as an opening event for an EFTAG exhibition in 2009. The parade soon became a signature public event and was later held at Moruya Bowling Club during the River of Art Festival.
In 2017 the parade took to the catwalk under bright lights at our new venue and time. This successful new format will continue in 2018 with members of EFTAG interpreting the theme “Folklore and Fantasy”.
