We had a great day today under the guidance of new member Mary Burns, learning discharging with bleach. Everyone was very enthused and we all found the different reactions of different fabrics fascinating. Some started discharging immediately, some took a while, and some just stubbornly refused to do anything! Old jeans, t-shirts, skirts and shirts were magically transformed into works of art. Mary also taught us how to arrest the discharging action and neutralise the bleach.
The weather was perfect, and the new location we trialled, at the Presbyterian church hall in Tuross got a unanimous thumbs up from everyone who attended.
