The past weekend saw 12 very happy EFTAGers gathering at the Pines at Tuross for a three day workshop with the delightful Mo Godbeer (and her invaluable assistant, Mark). The subject was “Encaustic Collage”. This proved to be an amazingly diverse topic, as the photos of the work produced will show.
Mo got us all inspired with some samples of her own work and encouraged us to play and see what happened. After an introduction to working with wax and a few sensible safety do’s and don’ts, such as “don’t point your flaming gas cannister at the person next to you”, we were off.
I am happy to report that everyone had enormous fun and no-one was incinerated.
